Hey all, this may seem like a weird question but the customs depts in the countries i am travelling to have been no help at all.

i live in australia and will be travelling to japan, china, england, france and sweden in the next few weeks. i will not be taking protein powder because i have been told that i could get into trouble (it being a powder and all) so i am going to take protein bars instead.

if possible, can anyone help me find out if they are/arent allowed in these countries. i cant see it being a problem because they rent illegal but i dont know other countries customs rules.

cheers

Dude I wouldnt chance it. With the world the way it is right now and heightened sacurity world wide save yourself the headache. Grab some protein bars and look for a sports nutrition store where you travel or if your staying in one spot long enough order online to a location where you reside at.

i took bars in my carry on luggage coming into the uk, and had my powders in my other luggage in the hold, that was only abt 3 months ago, i also had protein powder sachets in my carry on too, i cant' see it being a problem if i got it through heathrow airport without any problems you should be able to, however the states may be a problem, customs are useless, contact the airline you are flying with to double check though.
