white rice ??

I'm eating white rice in my meals .. my goal now is to get cut .. it's bad ? .. should i Substitute it with brown rice .. i knew it's high Glycemic Index .. but how high is it ? it's moderate or high ?

I would use brown rice. but white rice is better for your carb up.

brown rice doesn't taste as good but it's good for fat burning. It goes through quick and foods like that help speeding up that but what really helps is to be eating 5 meals a day. I started that i've lost 4 pounds in 8 days now.

brown rice goes slower, not quick.

Ive been eating brown rice for a while now and the taste grows on you. Try brown rice, black beans on top, foreman'ed chicken on top of that, and throw some chopped up tomato and onion on top of that...... mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
white rice should be kept to a minimum. it has useless chemicals in it among other things.

aha .. i'm gonna try it .. also ive been eating brown pasta .. and it taste's good :) .. i eat it with lean steak :)

Brown rice is a lot better........per 1/4 cup dry serving, white rice has 0g. fat, 37g carbs, 1 gram fiber, and 3 grams of protein. Brown rice has 1.5 grams of fat, 30 grams of carbs, 5 grams of fiber and 3 grams of protein. Strictly from a fiber standpoint its better. Like gumby said, it goes slower because of the fiber.

I use both brown and white rice. Brown is supposed to be better for bodybuilding concerning vitamins and nutrients, but white rice is good to carb up with. I usually eat white rice with my plain chicken and brown rice with my more spiced up chicken. Considering brown rice has a little bit more flavor to it opposed to white.
