Optimum Nutrition for whey and casein protein. Not sure with bcaa, and just get any type of creatine monohydrate, it's all the same. True Mass by BSN sounds like it is pretty good for a weight gainer or Cytogainer by CytoSport.

simply put the isolate is a better quality. For bcaa's just find some bulk somewhere, or a few good ones are excell, and xtend. If you go with cytogainer i believe theres 5gs of CM per serving so that kills two birds with one stone. If your on a budget just make your own gainer, use a coffee grinder on some oats, throw them in your shake with some bulk CM.

easy.... the poster above mentioned cyto. And im not the one who didnt give very much information, here. How am i to know what your looking for if you yourself never tell us? Weight gainers in general arent that good so there you go thats my opinion, your the one that asked the question.

weight gainer is basically protein with carbs so yes you could. Just add in some of the carbs of your choice. Weight gainer is a waste of money, even if you have the money i wouldnt get it.

lol i have a few open containers right now, i stay at a my fiances most of the time so i have 5lbs optimum nutritions gold standard, and 5lbs muscle milk there. At my parents house (i stay here only once or twice a week) i think i have a 6lb bag of eas? whey. Depending on my needs, depends on what i do with the whey.

like i said it all depends on your needs.... what are your current goals atm? i use muscle milk before bed with some efas in it to slow down the digestion, its higher in calories because of the fat content. If your looking for PWO, just get optimum nutrition, and add carbs. I personally like to keep my meals seperated fat/protein and carb/protein meals, i'm sure someone will try to chime in and dispute this but this is what works best for me.

get the optimum whey, its more of a versitile protein source. If you want to take it before bed instead of a casinate, add some olive/coconut/flax seed oil to it for additional calories as well as slowing the digestion, for post workout throw carbs in it (maltodextrin, dextrose, ground oats, and so on). 145 lbs you could probably eat enough calories to only use whey PWO, and eat cottage cheese before bed. The options for a bbing diet are alot less limiting then most would think. Basically just eat a **** load make sure your geting enough protein from whole food, you'll be good to go. EAT SLEEP LIFT GROW. Do all those in large amounts and the results are only limited by your genetics, which i assure you, that you havent reached at 145lbs. How old are you?

bcaa's glutamine and creatine: prolab
most whey proteins are a mixture of isolate and concntrate.. but i agree with jake, isolate is better quality

i am 15,and chinese. my dad is pretty HUGE but me.... its s different story, i am big but sorta skinny, but i have my muscles just not defined and needs to grow bigger

i use solgar multi vitamins, and solgar BCAA's, cheap creatine mono, reflex's casein
im using cyto gainer atm and ive found its working for me but take my advice MAKE SURE U WAIT AT LEAST 2 HOURS AFTER UR LAST MEAL B4 U USE IT, ull b sick, and also dont buy the cookies and cream flavour, very sickly, an ive herd that chocolate malt flavour is also ****ty. im gna b using either a different flavour of cyto gainer or jus bsn true mass

No there is nothing better. If there was we would have told you.

Ironwarrior, Layne has covered this many times on many forums. Glutamine has no scientific evidence to back it. Here is what he has put in another forum:

"-terrible oral bioavailability

-supplementation with it does not increase athletetic performance, strength gain, or muscle gain compared to controls

-supplemenation with glutamine does not increase intracellular glutamine levels

-of the lean mass gain shown (usually in sick or burn victims) during glutamine supplemenation; this gain can be attributed solely to small intestine hypertrophy as these diseases cause large scale atrophy of this organ and glutamine is the main metabolic fuel for the small intestine "

Supplements arent going to make you big... just so you know. Since you only weigh 145, you could gain so much just by eating more and training heavy. So many people rely on these things way to much. They are only going to be a waste of money unless your allready eating right and training right. I only say this so that you can figure this out quik before spending alot of money on BS supplements that will make you "get big fast"... Supplements have their use but only if you understand that they are called supplements for a reason.
