Noob here, I've been lifting now for 5 months and have gained tremendous strength and muscle gains.

Back about a year or so ago when i was working out i was taking creatine mono for 2 months and then i slacked and just stopped working out and i notice the gains i had completely went away.

My question is how do you effectively take creatine. I know it has good results but i didnt like the fact that if you dont take it or work out your muscles slowly fade out. I plan to train now without slacking or stopping. I know you have to take it on and off (like 2 months on 1 off) but when i'm in the off stage will i lose my gains?

I want to take it again, but i want to take it correctly and effectively first.
The other supps im taking is true mass, glutamine, nitrix, multi vitamin, and no xplode again next month.

Thanks for the help

You lost water and that might be part of it. You will regain the lost muscle fairly easy due to muscle memory. Get rid of the glutamine. Follow the directions on the bottle.

Here is a good basic supplement stack:

Whey
Creatine mono
General multi vitamin
flax oil
bcaa's

Welcome to the dungeon!

bro, freak is exactly right. you lost the water. however, one of the main ideas behind creatine, is that the water makes your muscles more full promoting strength and size gains. the idea of lifting more weight helps in an increase in size while on creatine. yes you will lose a little when you cycle off, but itll be right back to where you were, and much faster, the next time you cycle back on.

your body naturally secretes creatine so pumping more into it without exercise wouldn't benefit you at all for the most part. wouldn't really reccomend it.

When an active person repeatedly trains movement, often of the same activity, in an effort to stimulate the mind’s adaptation process, the outcome is to induce physiological changes which attain increased levels of accuracy through repetition. Even though the process is really brain-muscle memory or motor memory, the colloquial expression "muscle memory" is commonly used

basically what that means is....your muscles develop and grow when you train. if you'd stop training and then pick it up later on...it'd take time but your muscles would be able to do the same things again.

You would lose water and notice it and probably confuse it for muscle.

Muscle memory simply means when you lost muscle (atrophy) it is easier to gain it back than it was to build it initially.

i agree with the guy who said you should get rid of glutamine. the true mass has glutamine in it already as well as bcaa's and multivitamine. so if you go the bsn route, i suggest taking the following supplements

true mass - #1 weight gainer IMO. good quality stuff.
cell mass - better than regular monohydrate because it also contains glutamine and other things, you don't retain as much water, and you don't get as dehydrated. it's a little on the expensive side so if you don't want to spend 40 or 50 $ depending on where you get it, for some creatine, then just stick to the regular mono cuz it works great as well.
N.O. Xplode - not for the pumps (if you're working out right you should already be getting pumps) but for the energy and the extra creatine. helps with muscle endurance. IMO, only one scoop is needed and the rest is unessesary but that's just IMO.

that's pretty much it IMO. other supplements are just a luxury like Nitrix IMO, is uneeded and it's too expensive for what it really does. try some cell mass instead if you're going to be spending that much money anyway.

but remember to put your meals first before the supplements as well as your workout routines first. never sacrafice form for weight and you should be good buddy!
