I think in celebration of my turning a 1/4 century old later this week, I'm rewarding myself with 'old man hips'. I'm a little nervous about it, they've been getting sore for the past few months. It seems like they were more often sore when I DON'T use them (read: don't work out/jog/hike for a week or more) but it's becoming more constant now.

It's not an unbearable pain. My rotator cuff tends to hurt more and I don't mention that. But it's odd and uncomfortable probably because of the location.

I don't do a TON of lower body stuff, so I dont' think I've done anything to "abuse" my hips. Just not sure what to think.

supplement advice? Or should I just go see my sports doc?

awesome. thanks for the tips guys, I'll probably pick some up tomorrow.

Has anyone else had similar issues with the hips? It's just weird to me and I wonder what's going on in there. Just got back from a run and they're feeling really tight.

I have had my hips rotated does that count? I have Osgood Schlatter's also known as jumper's knee. Rippedup is spot on with glucosamine!

Just wondering if you were taking any prohormones or GH. I have seen reports of these causing dry joints. Elevated test and low estrogen will do that. Just a wild question

i had 15% of my meniscus removed in high school so its basically bone on bone now as is. couldn't tell ya about the hips though but glucosamin is definitely the way to go. 2 tabs a day.
