Its cool man. Personally as im focusing more on losing bodyfat i wouldnt have a during workout drink. I just have my pre-workout meal one and half to two hours before training and post-workout meal about an hour after i finish. But i've no doubt heard good things about the waxy maize carb, and will try it eventually.

An hour after is way to long, you want it asap.

If i do have my post-workout meal right after weight training as i have done in the past it has done nothing but hold back my efforts to lose bodyfat. It might help muscle recovery etc. But waiting an hour after is fine, glycogen stores will be replenished and fat burning hormones will be in effect as opposed to having the meal right away as im not an endurance athlete needing immediate glycogen replenishment and im not bulking either. This is just what works for me personally

You really have no idea.

First off you need to refill glycogen stores because they are depleted and it takes up to 20 hours to refill completely depleted glycogen stores assuming adequate nutrition. Secondly, doesn't matter if you are on a bulk or not. Muscle recovery results in increased muscle mass which helps you burn fat because muscle is more metabolically active.

Yes but i do want to deplete glycogen at least temporarily which will help with fat burning. And yes i do know what im talking about. Im getting adequte nutrition as well as taking a range of supplements which prevent catabolism etc so its no big deal.
