I take NO Xplode, and have tried stuff like Pump Fuel (didn't like it at all). I'm reading up on other things like NO Shotgun and stuff like that, and I'm just wondering: what do you guys take/recommend?

bro do a search. there are so many threads, at LEAST 5 a week on just this title "preworkout supp." there all opinions and advice on those.

Pre-workout, I like caffeine tabs from Prolab (less than $10 for 100 of them) and one scoop of whey protein mixed in water. Some people only take whey protein after workouts, but it's actually very beneficial before workouts as well.

It all depends on what your goals are, different supplements for different goals. Also, how long you been training for? What does your diet look like?

I've done many a search and reading other forums, and so far lots of people who had issues with the no-xplode switched to no shotgun and liked it. I'm going to buy some soon and I can let you know
