Help W/ Creatine!

Alright. Well, I want to being to take a creatine. I was wondering if you guys would prefer just the usualy Creatine Monohydrate or Ethyl Ester. Or would you prefer a formulated creatine. For example- Size On, Cellmass, or Cell Tech. I was thinking about just using pure creatine monohydrate. Its cheaper than the mixed formulas. However, does it give the same results.

Mixed opinion would be great

go with strait up Mono, when you buy creatine products your generally paying for the flavor and alot of junk carbs. There is alot of scepticism, on the affectiveness of CEE. Go with the tried and true.

yeah go pure mono..its cheaper.....the firt week take 20 to 25 grams every day then take 5 g per day

monohydrate, plain and simple in powder form. i've tried em' all (pills, powder, syrum) powder works the best.

after you load 5g x4 times daily take 5g pre workout and 5g post workout

As above, monohydrate does need to be loaded whereas the ethyl ester does not. It starts working immediately. I've found BSN's Cellmass to be a good blend of your post workout glucose, glutamine and ethyl ester creatine. By the time you purchase the glutamine and creatine in raw for you could have bought a couple things of Cellmass online. Just my $.02

Yeah i was leaning towards pure mono anyway. Thanks a lot though.

Now. Im going to be getting the gnc brand flavorless powder. Instructions on how to load isnt there. Any loading phase instructions you guys could give me? Thanks a lot.

Also, if you know any other pure mono thats not from gnc that would also be great. Thanks

Im using LG's Cold Fusion before workout and its working really good, nice pump. It has some kind of creatine complex in it along with the NO. I think its part Ethyl and part mono, at least it has that labled on the ingredients. It doesnt really list how much of a serving of creatine that you get per serving. I went out tonight and bought some straight mono creatine and was going to load up for a week then use it 5g along with the Cold Fusion with workouts. Is that going to be too much?

I'm not entirely sure on board rules or whatever, but nutraplanet.com, has a kilo for 12.99. Cheap as hell... GNC sucks, dont buy from there or listen to their salesreps.... they know jack.

Creatine monohydrate doesn't need to be loaded either, its just an option to get the results in faster.

I understand what your coming from jakevandetta but there monohydrate costs $9.50 for 250 grams which is awesome + its just creatine monohydrate what can go wrong

Dude, I'm a GNC salesrep. and I KNOW jack. Don't make generalizations because it makes you appear foolish. Seriously, GNC is a brick a mortar store and they have their prices set so they can turn a profit. They don't appeal to some because of their prices and that's fine but I still keep a small schedule there to take advantage of the free stuff and discounts that are available. There are good deals to be had in your GNC, you just have to look.

However, I still buy most of my protein online because I can usually find a better price. I know what I'm talking about and my manager definately knows what she's talking about. I can't vouch for other GNCs but I know my store has their stuff together.

Hey never satisifed, GNC does not have good standings in the dungeon, regardless if you are a sale reps or not..

Ok, saying that all gnc sales rep was an over generalization, so i apologize. But everyone i have came in contact with that work there dont know what their talking about. I have a friend that works there, i jokingly asked him where the amino profile was on the old mega whey label and he asked me what i was talking about. Also, the ladies that work there *at my local GNC* seem to think that whatevers newest to the store is the best thing out. So i appologize for the statement but in the end the sales reps are just looking for sales.... hence the name. IF they can make a sale they will tell you whatever you want to hear.

thats not even to mention their crazy prices, unless you've got a gold card [or know someone who works there ;-)], and you shop in the about to expire section, its almost impossible to even afford the staple supplements.

Chris, i lived in the 'burgh for a few years, great place. I worked at upmc shadyside, westpenn, and AGH, as part of my schooling. I hope to move back some day.

I don't expect slack because I'm a sales rep. I'm there to answer questions and offer advice, the same thing I do in here. Sure I sell stuff but nothing that I haven't tried myself and know that it works. Everyone in sales gets a bad rep. (just look at car salesman) but there are always exceptions. I got the job to use the discount to get supplements at insane prices. I leave the store with something almost every day. Yesterday? MHP's Up Your Mass for $17.50

Yeah like i said im sorry for that general assumption it was very ignorant of me. My friend that works there also got the job for the discount ;-) 30% off of allready marked down stuff is always fun, i also enjoy the benefits of his job. I waunder if his boss notices the amount of **** he buys?
