Black Powder came out because no one can keep MRI's Anabolic Switch in stock. You can't even order it from the company. Poor strategy if you ask me...

^^^well it depends on the companys goal. They signed a contract with GNC to make it exclusive and GNC has to buy X amount of units but if you calculate there orders with the GNC's around the world I bet there making bank.

Oh yeah dude. GNC makes bodybuilding.com look like a mom and pop shop. I did some research on them one time and you dont want to know how much revenue that company brings in.

Bb.com is a private company correct.. so how did you compare financials. It's not like they just have a 10k laying around.. + when you compare the number of products offered and number of brands bb.com is going to far surpass them.

Got some more info.

Now the company Higher Power is a different company that opereated X amount of shares of BBD. Just recently they took over 60% of the share leaving Deluca with about 40% and still active CEO. Now Im guessing this statement is written in 2006 or 2005 but check this out.

I guess we have totally different definitions of a mom and pop shop. I think of the typical brick and mortar stores that have a very limited selection more of a mom and pop shop than an online company with thousands of products.

GNC does suck so far as sports nutrition because there are so many cheaper alternatives. GNC serves a niche of people, which is why it is a pretty successful business. We live in a world of instant gratification and some people would rather have their protein in hand and spend the extra money. Just my $.02

TRUE^^^ it has to do with supply and demand. GNC is almost in there own market because they have there own uneducated client base. Where other companys like Nutraplanet have to compete much more thats why the prices are so good. Just my opinion BBD will be the next GNC within 5-10 years. They have a large consistant customer base so demand is so high that they can start to raise prices slowly and not have to worry about loosing customers. I remember BBD was like the Walmart of supplement stores about 4 years ago but Now I can find a 100 online stores with better prices on most of there products?

Ok rather you like the GNC whey protien or not.personally I do it taste ok and has less carbs,sugars and other stuff.Anyway I have been looking for somewhere with cheape prices on a similar protien.I buy all mine at the first of the month.I think my 6 lb jugs cost me 39.99 sometimes when I buy 2 its like 73.00.
If anyone has a link to cheaper and similar stuff PLEASE send to me.Always looking for a better deal and the GNC employess dont know **** lol
PS I must be one of GNC's uneducated clientel. lol
