I'm getting ready to turn 18 in a month. I started going back to the gym and I've been working out pretty hard for about the past month. I'm just wondering it would be safe for me to start taking supplements like creatine and protein. TIA, Phil.

Cosign with LBJ.

You could've started on protein already. It's not really a supplement persay. But at 18 your pretty much in the clear to smartly pick supplements.

Hello,

I am new here, In my opinion it is safe to taking creatine and protein. TIA, Phil. There are lots of things you could keep on hand to eat, peanut butter, whole grain bread, and beef jerky, almonds. For all these things I would refer you an online store called bayho.com. It’s one of the best online store for buying nutrition, vitamins, supplements and all you want. .

Hope This Helps!!

Bad thing about beef jerky and peanut butter especially is the fat content. Might generally be too high.

Welcome to the Dungeon bro!!! Lots of good people on these boards, LBJ is really knowlegeable and team Orbit along with so many others as well, but you will be fine on protein, creatine, glutamine, bcaa, multivitamin, flaxseed oil, fishoil (to name a few that are good staples) not to mention FOOD!!!! Just remember its called a supplement for a reason, if your diet is crap you are just wasting your money, without diet you got nothing, you need to fuel your workouts and recovery because if you don't , you won't grow, you will loose muscle mass (if you are trying to slim down) and you most likely won't be happy with the way you are going to look, and I have seen people been discouraged because they train hard and make no progress because they don't have a diet going for them and they can't recover essentially and allow the muscle to grow and get stronger. Just some food for thought. Let us know if you need anything, please ask questions.

Id ask why you hadnt aleady started the protein by now, lol! Its not a bad thing because you eat protein when you have eggs, chicken etc its just a simpler way of getting alot of protein with little or no carbs in it around your training schedule. Good luck with it all mate!
