I think some people around here use tke monster food for a weight gainer. Only thing is when your using a weight gainer is to not depend soley on the weight gainer. When you ask a serious question about how to gain mass and just see people say food, its because thats the most important thing to get.

If you have a particular problem eating enough food to bulk then weight gainers should do good.

food is the way to go pal...supplements will help though as a 2nd option

if you plan on using a gainer, use true mass or cyto gainer

Yeah, food is definately what you need to grow. I would advise eat as much as you can, and if you want to use a weight gainer use a fast digesting one post workout to help you with recovery. Creatine, glutamine, BCAA's, multivitamins and all the good vitamins, minerals and oils.
BTW, what is your age?

Eat heaps of chicken and heaps of carbs. At night use a slow realeasing protein so your body gets feed all through the night.
I used BSN true mass awsome product has over 620 calories per serve from memory and is high in protein iswell.
Try having:

morning:

6 egg whites
oats
toast
protein shake
2x tribulus

lunch
chicken breast
rice
orange juice
protein shake

take BSN NO xplode before gym training
After the gym have BSN cellmass

Dinner:

steak/chicken
rice
vegies
2x tribulus
protein shake (slow realease)

Try that for a while weigh yourself before you start eating all this stuff and weigh your self in a months time and see how much weight you have put on

Just be careful taking something like trumass, no offense massive, only because when you take something like that (which is essentially a type of weight gainer) you will not be able to burn off the extra calories and carbs before bed which will in turn just turn into fat, yes you will gain weight, but not a good type. And yes I know you do have to gain some fat to gain mucle, but if you take a weight gainer before bed you will gain more fat then you are going to like, which means it will take longer to burn off when the time comes.

All of the posts below are right on. I started my gaining cycle for the winter this week, and for example tonight because I wanted something quick I put together this concoction.

1. Lean ground turkey that I had cooked, seasoned and tupperweared in the refrigerator.
2. Brown Rice
3. Canned black beans that I poor in to a strainer and rinse off out of the can.

Together I mix those up in a bowl, add a little Fat Free sour cream to act as a sort of "bonding agent" to hold all of the ingredients together, and also for flavoring. Top off with a little Frank's Red Hot Sauce and it's awesome. I'm not sure what the calorie or protein count is. I just try to get in a pretty big bowl. Of course, with some steamed veggies.

However I should note that these are nights where I don't have my girlfriend spend the night because after this no one wants to smell your farts.

I am on my bulking cycle right now too, and so far in 1 week I am up 6lbs and my bf hasn't gone up (at 15%). Just make sure to eat every 2 hours and you should be fine. If your like me and always on the road invest into some ON 100% Whey Gold Standard, IDS Waxymaize, and IDS SmartGainer (smartgainer only for PostWorkout since its fast digesting). Waxymaize is really good, and is a good carb to have and induces a pump and help delivery of nutrients quickly when lifting. Like I said 1 meal every 2 hours, this is generally what my breakdown looks like:
Wake up: 1 serving Size On (tabs) 1 serving Nitrix
Breakfast:
1-2cups eggwhites
1cup oatmeal w/1scoop ON Whey protein powder
2 slices of double fiber bread w/ some jelly
1 Cup Black Coffee

Midmorning:
1.5 Scoops ON Whey Shake

Lunch:
2 Chicken Breasts
1 Cup Brown Rice

Midafternoon:
1.5 Scoops ON Whey or 1 Can tuna fish w/lowfat mayo
4 Pills Nitrix

PreWorkout:
2 Scoops Waxymaize
4 Caps Protein Factory
4 Pills Nitrix
4 Tabs GET Sus500
2 Tabs IDS Sostenol250 (original batch)

Postworkout:
1 Serving IDS Smartgainer

Dinner:
8-10 ounces steak,chicken or fish
1 Head Broccoli
1/2 Cup Brown Rice

1 Hour Before Bed:
1 Scoop ON Whey
1 Serving Multivitamin
2 Caps Flaxseed Oil
2 Caps Fishoil

This is what I have been doing, sometimes its a little different, but generally its quiet close to this. This has made such a drastic difference, if you can get yourself onto a good diet and maybe some supplements like creatine, glutamine, bcaa, NO supplement of sorts, whatever you want (depending on age and years trained) you should put on some good quality mass.

P.S.
ON 100% Whey Gold Standard is a low carb (only 3 carbs per serving) so its ok to have before bed, but during the day make sure you get your good carbs in.
