Heh, I remember I used a bunch of those in my earlier days (damn, Im talking like Im that old and ****, lol!). It tastes weird and funny imo. They got a lot of different flavors. 14$ is cheap so go for it. I payed much more for it and its not even worth it. There is no use what so ever for casein shakes as long as your diet is in check! I usually eat a tunafish can with some oil right before bed. Its probably good for variation though. Cant argue with that.

As a label reader, I stay away from Muscle Milk because it has so much fat in it. If you want to gain lean muscle I would try a different whey like Isopure or MRI's Pro-NOS. Just my $.02

* MCT's, the predigested "fatless fats", are more likely burned for muscle energy and heat than stored as fat. 20% of human milk and Muscle Milk lipids are MCT's. MCT's also promote positive nitrogen balance.
* Long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids are also less likely to be stored as fat. We use special enzyme engineering to make these lipids even more functional, promoting enhanced mineral retention.
* Recent research reveals calories with engineered lipids, taken before and during workouts, promote leanness. It is thought that these calories are used for workout energy, with less deposited as fat.

although it does have 8gram of saturated fat excessive amount of saturated fats consumption increases levels of ldl cholesterol in the blood, which in turn can lead to hypertension, stroke, heart attack, and other health problems.

i've used muscle milk for pre workout drinks... the fat gives me energy and the protein gives my body a fuel source to delay muscle burning.

post workout, i wouldn't consume it just cuz of the high fat count.

the chocolate flavor is pretty good.. it was the pre made drink. not one i mixed myself.
