Grabs some BCAAS bro has that in there. I take a total of 5g before and after I workout.

Im curious why would you just want to take it by itself. I found this below VVVV I agree and think it does it job more effective with the others. For example if I eat bean or rice by itself I get little protein but put it together and now you have a complete form of protein.

To make the most of what you eat, you need two parts L-Leucine and two parts L-Valine for every one part of L-Isoleucine. You'll fail to get optimal results if you fall short of meeting this exact ratio.

It is clear that leucine increases protein synthesis by increasing the activity of mTOR & the phosphorylation of eIF4G.

Leucine has a far greater stimulatory effect on protein synthesis than any other amino acid and it has been shown that protein synthesis increases similarly in response to a relatively small dose of leucine compared to a whole food meal.

It has also been demonstrated that adding leucine to a protein rich meal further increases the rate of skeletal muscle protein synthesis.

Right thats the definition but If it were me why spend X amount of dollars for Leucine when for the same price you can get BCAAs which is proven to be a superior blend of 3 aminos. Whey protein itself has Leucine in it but adding more does not mean it will be more effective. But if you want more than I would think having a complet for with BCAA including Leucine as one of the 3, would be a much wiser and cost effective choice. Now if its just choice and you prefer leucine by itself than thats cool but prefer Leucine byitself than to get BCAAs just does not make sense to me. But good luck bro.
