Arginine and Glutamine

I was reading my flex magazine, and they said to cycle these two together before and after workouts ,then again later at night. It's suppose to help in muscle recovery, as well as Growth hormone release (naturally, not like HGH).

I know glutamine is pretty much straight up, nothing to worry about....but if I take the arginine will i get the side effects mentioned in my other thread like no-xplod (blood pressure droppage, lightheadness etc).

Arginine is good for your blood pressure. Nothing bad should happen. A guy your size should be taking in 3-6 grams per serving. If you want to spice up your post work out drink, take 3 grams of L-arginine with it for better absorption, recovery and transport of nutrients.

Administration of large amounts of arginine to animals has been found both to promote3 and to interfere with cancer growth.4 In preliminary research, high intake (30 grams per day) of arginine has increased cancer cell growth in humans.5 On the other hand, in people with cancer, arginine has been found to stimulate the immune system.6 At this time it remains unclear whether arginine is dangerous or helpful for people with cancer.
