I use flax seeds in my post workout shakes, so that I get the benefit of the fiber as well.

Okay - this is gross, but I wanted to bring it up before - now is the chance. Have you noticed that you 'pass' the seeds - apparently undigested?

Hypothetically speaking, if one passes the seeds whole, are they getting the benefit of either the omega-3 or the fiber?

BTW - I take 1 gram 3 times a day - 2nd, 4th & 6th mealtimes.

I wouldn't take it after a workout, but that is assuming that its critical that you get, only protein and CARBS, after a workout. I would bet though that if a study was done , say one group taking flak seed oil after and another say taking it in the AM, several hours a part from working out , if there would be any real difference.
Remember after lifting the critical time is 36 hours( i believe) so as long as you restore glycogen and get sufficient protein, and good fat you will be covered there.

are the flaxseed oil in pill (case with the liquid inside) form any good? thats the one im having... it has omega 3-6-9. i take two pills/tablets morning lunch and dinner.

2 times a day , in my shakes (bot the post work out),mixed half and half with some olive oil .
( 5ml of each per shakes).
