Are supplements a waste of money to any of you guys?? Some people say yes and some say no. How does anybody know the effects of any kind of supplement whenever they have no clue how it works. Can you trust these companies.

Just a little thing that has been bothering me because here in my town and probably everywhere else if you lift people mostly consider themselves a bbuilder and they fall in love with a different supp every month..haha

How do you guys feel about the need of certain supplments such as creatine, NO, and all kinds of other volumizers and energy **** and such

Thanks guys

It depends which ones. Some supplements are a waste of exisiting. But there are companies and products that are trusted and used. You don't have to pick up just any supplement that comes out, alot of these are fad supplements that pop up on month and are off the shelves the next month just to come back with a "Revamped" formula.

The best dietary supplement is whey protein. Hands down that is the best, non-food product to buy.

Creatine works, it works well. I stick with creatine mono (like alot of other people).

NO is up and down. Some people will swear by it and some people just don't care about it. Some people get good results for a while, while other times people say there it doesn't do anything.

What supplements are you asking about in particular besides those?

Whey protein serves a great purpose but one could really live and grow from food. Creatine on the other hand produces results that cannot be obtained from food. So technically I would have to disagree with you on whey being the best. There is no substitute for creatine other than the supplement; there is for whey.

Personally I think NO is junk. People "see" results but does it actually produce documented results.. idk

I say whey is the greatest because of its ease to use right into a diet. Besides anything that adds to macro count, creatine is probably the most important supplement in the past 20 years.

protein powders are all good. They're greate, only difference between differend product line's is the price.
But, if you have time to eat properly even they aren't necessary.
I use protein powders, but I try to use it no more than I have to breakfest and after workout, and post workout sure, because ---> money

But the boosters are all bull****, though.
