Yo,
im just 16 and been using creatine ethyl ester for little over a month now. I think i have been taking too much per day with not enough water. What should i do? Anything gonna be result of this?

Besides that i havent seen much gains, what effects can creatine have on me if taken correctly?

THX MUCH NEONE FOR HELP.

its not a miracle worker...i take 1scoop with 650ml of water about 3hours before my workout and one straight after...but i could be wrong.just carry on taking it as directed and dont skip any workouts

Most people take 5-10grams a day. Before and after a workout. As long as your drinking atleast a gallon a water a day and have a pretty good diet, you should see some steady results.

me neither..5g a day is plenty...make sure u drink a lot of water...creatine makes ur muscles hold more water so they look bigger so if u dont drink the water nothing gonna happen......

i take 5 grams before and 5 grams after work out, I drink 8 liters of water a day which is about 2 gallons, i say liters because i have a liter jug i keep refilling

i know its just habit i have always drank alot of water, my mom had kidney problem while i was growing up so it kinda became second nature to drink alot of water

I used to think a gallon was alot, but then I realized how much water I wind up drinking during my workout alone.

yo my buddy next door in my dorm is buying pure creatine monohydrate, although he's not 16, it's his first time using creatine. he's 19 like me, probably about 180, but not really too muscular. anyways, its 5g a scoop (the gnc kind i think he got). how many scoops, and when per day?

I took the gnc kind once, the thing that sucks about that is the loading phase where u do 4 days at 20g's a day spread out, plus the gnc monohydrate didnt mix too well with the drinks I used. Got decent results tho so I wont bad talk it.

i'm not sure about pre and then post because it's liek your putting so much creatine in a short span. Why not pre OR post, then bed?

2. muscle recovery (post)

i use the unflavored GNC brand creatine...with no issues. it doesnt mix well into liquidsm but i could care less. its doing its job. i take one teaspoon (5grams) before and after training.

mine didnt come witha scooper, just says on the back that 5 grams is one teaspoon..

I bought the exact same brand. I took one of my parents measuring spoons and stole it and just threw it in my jar. I measure with that now. It's a half teaspoon measuring spoon so I use a little over two scoops.

I didn't really find a problem with the mixing as long as you do it in a bottle where you can shake it in. It might come out a little grainy, but I use that Pom blackberry tea container thats glass, wide open top, easy to scoop stuff into.

take 5 grams before and 5 grams after at least thats what i do, the reason for before is you want you muscles saturated with creatine when you work out and the after is to replace the creatine your body used during the workout

Because it's not nessecary to take it at any certain time really. Postworkout your going to take it with something that causes a insulin spike, so the logic is that the muscles will absorb that portion in it more efficiently than any other time through the day.

But really after your muscles are saturated with creatine then the effects show.

so i should have my cellmass immediately after my workout with what kind of juice......and then 25 minuts later i'll have my postworkout shake with 2 cups rice.

I take 3 grams every morning with a glass of orange juice. then i keep hydrating my body thorughout the day. I drink about 1 1/2 gallon of water everyday.
