I'm taking a 3 whey protein 25000 powder.
I drink it with milk, once the day I train, just after training, and that's it.
Before the training I'm used to have some carbs powder(maltodextrine?).
Since I'd like to increase muscle mass and loose fat (I gained a bit because, maybe, of the 3 whey), what would be the best moments in the days of training to drink the proteins? How long before/after? The days I don't train, I didn't wnat to take porteins because I easily get overweighted...
Thanks in advance for any orientations from you guys
(hope I did myself clear since english isn't my native language...)

thanks for your answer! I forgot to give some informations: I train 3 or 4 times a week, 2 different sets.

do you mean I should have 1 shake before training with carbs + 3 whey proteins, and the 2nd just with proteins right after?

Is 2 hours before training enough to diggest and have full energy available by the time I will train?

i have 2 musclegainer shakes eveery day even if i dont work out.. i work out 5 times a week... this gives me maximal growth, because the muscles is on an anabolic stadium many days after the workout.. sometimes up to 10 days if u hit them really hard, so protein is important every day.. therefore i take shakes every day...

I also take shakes everyday to make sure my protein levels are in check, but if you're concerned with gaining fat then I would suggest taking your shakes with water and not milk.

I'd suggest the same ... water not milk

I drink 2 shakes every day even on off days. I take the 1st one 1-2 hours before the workout and the 2nd one some time during the day Since i started using creatine i drink that right after my workout but since you're not doing that i'd take the 2nd shake right after your workout

yeh take your protien with water 45 mins before training, bout 30-40 grams then emmediately after with water to as it is abosorbed quicker. Take it with milk just before you go to bed coz the milk allows the protien to be digested slowly giving you a supply through out the night

But, man, they just taste SO much better with milk! Mmmm chocolate goodness. Seriously though, yeah, if you're worried about the fat definitely take with water. Even skim milk doesn't really do the trick. Absorbs quicker with water as well.

great, thanx to all for the replies!
I was having my 3 whey proteins 2 hours before and 30 min after the trainings, but with skim milk. And the chocolate tastes ok with it, but with water...
Anyway, I'm having a hard time gaining muscle faster than fat on my belly since this is my "danger zone".
I just improved my sets with tips from the internet and books, now gonna try the water and take the 1st shake 1 hour before training. Man, it's not easy to find informations about how long it takes to digest proteins ands have them avalaible for physical effort, I thought 2 hours (at least) would be necessary...
The day I'm not training, I don't feel like having proteins because of the fat I gain easily (even when having a very healthy diet), which bothers me because it prevents me from having a good muscle definition.
But I also get more tired along the week because I don't completely recover...
Not easy to find the balance...
