I did a little searching, but found nothing. I'm pretty sure I already know the answer to this question but just wanted to be sure. But is it ok to mix your protein shakes at the beginning of the day and then take them with you and drink them at a later point in the day (as long as mixed with water ofcourse)? I'm sure the answer is yes, but I just wanted to be sure since this up coming semester of classes I will be fairly busy and not be able to make it back to my house throughout the day to mix them there.

dont even have to premix..just have the protein powder in a reusable water bottle or yahoo bottle nd add cold water when u ready..

yeah, it will be fine as long as you keep it cold.

I wouldn't premix, I'd just add water before drinking. I've found it starts to smell really bad when premixed and if not kept cold enough could be a great little bacteria factory.

Sounds good guys. Thanks. I was just wondering because I figured having them filled before a full day of classes would be easier then going to the drinking fountain between classes. But this way works too.

Doesn't taste that bad. I only use milk in my shakes before bed, so it has more of a casein effect and digests slower in my system. I know I'm not the only one doing this.

haha I've seen someone mix it with beer before as a joke. It was disgusting to watch.
