whey protein, creatine monohydrate, efa, bcaa, multi-vitamin.

Next time do a search.

EFA (Essential Fatty Acids) include omega 3 and 6 fatty acids so fish oil (omega 3s) would not be needed.

Don't rely too much on supplements. (thats sumtin everyone else here will tell you) Just follow a good diet, be careful what you eat and when it comes to supplements all you'd need is whey protein.

Don't tell him this as it is not true. There is a basic supply of supplements which are very beneficial. Yes diet is of first importance but creatine monohydrate, bcaa, efa, and a multi-vitamin are also helpful in addition to whey. It's just that too many people forget the meaning of supplements and forget their diet. With these basics they will greatly supplement a good diet and definitely improve gains.

What I was trying to tell him is not to get his hopes up and waste hundreds of dollars by thinking he'll get big by just focusing on supps. He still needs a good diet to actually achieve his goal since it seems like that's his 2007 resoluiton (according to what his thread mentioned)

you are 100% correct..most of that stuff is a waste of money..just eqat good food meat/vegetables /fruit/salad/salmon and u get all u need..the sups are a rip off anyway 50 cents worth of stuff in a fancy jar for $50.00..if the supplements worked everybody would have huge muscles,be shredded and have the sex drive of a bull..nothing casn replace doing the hard work needed to build big strong bodies...lol

A greate bodybuilder from the 80's said: "The only thing you need is whey protein, everything else is ****ing the dot which isn't even there"

Tell me something. Who the HELL needs over 3000 mg of each vitamin a day? I only take the c and b vitamin from tablets, other than that I eat the greens with every meal.

You don't need BCAA tablets, because BCAA's are whey, soy and egg protein. Why do you need protein in tablets and in powder at the same time? You don't.

Creatine might help someone, But I have tryed to take creatine with loading phase, witout loading phase, with a tea spoon, with a table spoon, sitting down, standing upside down, with dextro, with grape, with water, without any drink, masturbating at the same time, not masturbating at the same time.

Nothing works, totally useless product for me.

THe best gains I have ever got before my army was last year when I didn't use any supplement but whey protein during my diet. I was stronger than I have ever been,- had more endurance than I have ever had at under 5% bodyfat and 160lbs bodyweight.

I bought animal pak multivitamin cann few weeks ago, I don't feel any differend yet. ANd I'm sure, if the Cann wouldn't have nice texture's or any graphical design, the products wouldn't even exist.

That is my experience with supplements, I'm not saying they don't work for everyone.

Key sentence: "A greate bodybuilder from the 80's said"

You cannot deny the effects of creatine my friend. The research is out there, read up.

It is probably one of the most researched supplements to date.
