How's it going guys. I am new to this board but have been reading alot of these posts now for quite some time. I first want to say I love this site!!!

Ok so this is what I am working with. I am 145lbs and I do MMA/Muay Thai for a sport. I do a ton of cardio and it's very hard for me to put on any type of weight. I wanted to start taking a weight gainer along with my protein and a creatine in hope of putting on some more muscle. I lift like I should 3times a week and am strong for my size but I want to be at or around 170lbs.

So what weight gainers work best and what creatine have you found that works?
I have taken N.O for awhile but dont see gains anymore and I take Whey.

I am not looking to do this overnight obviously. I know it takes time but I have been at a wall for so long.

Thanks in advance guys!

why do cardio? your body is burning up too many calories in the fighting sports you do and cardio than it can use for building quality muscle.
i say dump the N.O and just stick with creatine monohydrate and protien (protien powder should only be taken imediatly after u wake up, after a work out, and just before bed time..and the creatine should only be taken before a workout).
however make the best effot you can to ensure the protien you get comes from foods you eat and not a manufactured powder.
dont forget to eat quality carbs (pasta, oats, potatoes, ect.) and you should be well on your way to gaining some muscle

I would have to eat like a horse. I will make sure to increase my pasta ect. That is why I was considering a weight gainer. So negitive on weight gainer? I figured it would have been easier then trying to eat a ton of food.

I will cut the cardio for awhile and just get that from my rounds.

Yep Mygeeto summed it up. Most weight gainers are crap. Look to gain on avg. 2lbs/wk.

What is your record? What martial art do you train for your ground game?

I do all amature right now. I just got back from Tokyo for the worlds in karate (shotokan), I won the nationals in two weight classes but couldn't take that one. I am 5-0 amature boxing, 1-0 mma & in 3-0 muay thai

I wrestled in college for unh so that is most of my ground game. I am not sure if you know mma but I tailer more towards the crocop/silva type of fighting style.

As for rkl0165, I can't stop the cardio... I am not looking to stay ripped, I just wanted to gain weight. I was wondering if a weight gainer would help. I will increase my food intake i guess.

So what type of Creatine works the best?

Congrats on your achievements! Got any predictions on the upcoming Tito/Liddell fight and the rest of the fight card for that matter?

Creatine monohydrate. Could just check bb.com and check the most popular and read reviews. I honestly don't know the best weight gainer. I only have experience with one (Weider Mega Mass 4000) and it sucks. Higher Power creatine monohydrate works well for me and the price is right.

Thanks alot! :)

As for the predictions on the Chuck and Tito fight. Chuck will KO Tito again but in a much faster time this time around. Reason: Tito is over rated, hyped by the UFC (much like Franklin was even when he didn't fight a calaber fighter). Tito wrestled in college and was an all american. He doesn't have the back ground of Couture and his wrestling isn't strong enough to get around Chucks sprawl! Never mind the guy is screwing Jenna Jamerson on the side... that has to hurt the training. I don't see Chuck losing anytime soon unless Rampage makes it back into the ring (which the UFC just bought out the WFL so it might happen). I am going to toss a pretty penny on this one depending on the odds.
