Try Phosphagen...Its a 4th generation creatine and it works a lot better than Monohydrate. I personally like phosphagen HP because its cheap and it tastes great but if you want you can also take cell tech.
Woah man, don't blow!..Anyway, I feel that while highly effective, Monohydrate has always been accompanied by some unwanted effects in my personal use. USP Labs has released an AMAZING creatine product with many, many other benefits called Cialabol. I would give Gaspari's Size On a close second.
Creatine Monohydrate is tasteless and really good. The CEE stuff is just hype.
When buying, look for the "CreaPure" label, it means it is pharmacuetical grade.
You can get Creatine Monohydrate pills. The only problem is thats just more pills that you have to choke down and you'll have to take them 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours before your workout...Personally I hate the pills and Monohydrate...Phosphagens where its at trust me you'll love it and it tastes like kool-aid.
Not sure on Phosphagen, but I would definalty not pay 5x the price for pills of something thats tasteless.
If you are going to go for pills, just go for CEE pills.
personally, my favorite is kre-alkalyn (straight up monohydrate but with faster transport, smaller creatine to creatinine conversion rate and no bloating!
