Got a question. I have been training for about 22 months now. I have a very busy schedule and I only get about an hour to workout each day. I am seeing an increase in my lifts which is good...but not a very big change bodywise. I havn't taken anything so far except some whey protein. I was wondering if anybody had some recommendations. Im 26yrs, 5'11, 194. have a beer gut I was wondering about creatine? if I only train for an hour will this blow me up..i.e look fat or does it help in muscle development? Any insight would be appreciated

Try to stick with a pretty clean diet, first and foremost. Then, continue the Whey Protein and maybe add some Casin Protien for night time. Creatine would be fine also. You might get a little bloated from the Creatine, but not too much. 1 hour is all that's need to train...as long as you're training hard!

Just give yourself time. Small changes add up. Congrats on the 2 months. Keep it going!

Once you get your diet in check you'll most likely start seeing more and more changes. Just don't get discouraged that you're not seeing the gains you'd like, because 2 months is a relatively short time. Keep it up and the progress will come.

The best advice I have been given is "To get big, you have to eat big" and it has worked for me. My diet is 4,500 calories per day consisting of 45% protein, 45% carbs and 10% fat. I only lift for 90 minutes each day and do no cardio. I am 6'2 and weighed 215lbs two months ago, benching 205 x 12 and squating 300 x 12. I now weigh 225lbs, bench 260 x 12 and squat 370 x 12.

I take creatine and have been told that I don't look bloated at all. I would recommend creatine monohydrate (particularly EAS phosphagen) because it is a lot cheaper and just as effective as creatine "mixed" powders.
