I know this may sound silly...but one thing you learn even when you train for many years it that you can never know everything. So my question to you my dear dungeon dwellers is: In what proportion can Aminos replace taking protein shakes...since i have a real problem with taking protein shakes. From what we all know a protein is actually a whole lot of aminos linked together. So in essence can taking aminos exclude the need of taking shakes? Or are still protein shakes the foundation....and if so how should i mix aminos and protein...since the body cant only use so much protein...the rest going to waste?

Also a 2nd advice i need is how to take a particular brand of aminos reffering to UNIVERSAL AMINO 2700. (i am quite sure every1 knows them ) The label says tot take about 4-8 aminos a day. But i have heard from some hardcore builders that i should take up to 15 a day (5 morning, 5 aft training , 5 b4 bed). Also by taking the recommanded dosage i will only be taking a maximum of 15 gr of protein (since a serving size has 7.5 grams of protein and it says to take as much as 2 serving per day). But a regular shake has up to 50-60 or even more protein. I have been taking these MY WAY for about 2 years...but i guess it's time i got a real answer from someone who knows what he is talking about....so please shoot.
