I am going to start taking Mega Whey isolate, i have heard the standard is about 1 gram per pound body wieght, i am 155 lb.s so does that mean i should take in 155 g of protein? it seems a little high to me... also is the best time to take protein after a workout? before bed? also do i space out my servings of protein during the day to equal 155g of protein? any help would be greatly appreciated

split protein so you are getting the same amount for every meal. I think you should shoot for at least 155g of protein but try to get a little closer to 200g. For most people if they keep increasing the amount of protein their gains will level off at a certain point. For example, if you eat 155g of protein and your gains are the same when you eat 200g then whats the point of eating all that extra protein? Get what I'm sayin? I'm usually around 300g b/c anymore than that serves close to no purpose for me.

Just to clarify; you will be eating real food that will have protein in it that will have a fair proportion of your protein needs. You would then add whey supplementation to get any extra you need. So if you get 140g from eating then you only need 15g or so (assuming that you want 1g/lb BW).

as they have already said use it as a supplement. The best times to take it are mid morning, after your workout and before bed thats if you need 3 shakes to make up your daily protein needs the general rule is 1-2 grams of protein per pound of body weight if you dont get enough you wont put muscle on as quickly
