Dextrose, I found. maltodextrin I'll have to do some looking for. Thanks guys. this gives me a good starting place.

Got the whey under control I make sure I put down two 50gram iso whey protien shakes per day on off days and 3 50gram shakes on workout days.

Unless you boys know a more potent or available source of whey than protien drinks that is.......

Are you asking if we know a better source of protien? The answer if you are asking that is hell yea. Secondly, make sure you aren't depending on shakes as your main source of protien during the day. Get some whole foods such as chicken, fish and steak as your main sources of protien brotha!

What i forgot to mention. Recent study's has shown an even higher increase of insulin when using protein and carbs together, than when using carbs alone.

Palmetto,

Then don't just hell yea me lay it one me bro. If ya know a good source lemme hear it.

I tend to eat atleast one chicken meal a day, tuna for lunch, Peanut butter and jelly sandwhiches for my breaks or small meals. I like it or a big bowl of granola cereal and whole milk for an after workout meals as well. Thats the only cereal or breakfast type food I've found that it and the milk combined give me 17-20 grams of protien.

Thing is with the heat and me working outside it got real hard to force myself to eating that much food. So I started watching as best I could what I take in. Thats when I added a shake a day to my shake schedule.

I use isopure right now because I can mix it with the least amount of water (so it doesn't fill me or bloat me and I still have room for more food) and It doesn't go flyin in one end and out the other like alot of the other protien shakes.

Philos,

Are you saying my body produces a higher level with the intake of pro and carb or I NEED to try and spike a higher level?

Yes

If you take carbs and protein after working out you incease youre levels of growth hormone and insulin more than with carbs alone.

I disagree, protein supplementation has shown to be more anabolic than whole foods. When consuming whole, proteins are assimilated through a series of steps beginning with homogenization by chewing, followed by partial digestion by pepsin in the stomach. Following, a combination of peptides, proteins, and negligible amino acids are released into the duodenum and either partially hydrolyzed into ogliopeptides. Finally, nitrogen can be absorbed into plasma as both small peptides and amino acids through separate transport systems.
