BSN states on their website under FAQs that Nitrix should not be taken along with glutamine as glutamine cancels out the effects of the Nitrix. Ive had decent results with the Nitrix as well as glutamine in the past and want to start taking the glutamine again but dont want to waste $50 on Nitrix that wont work now.

Does anyone know if this is true of all nitric oxide products or is this a problem unique to BSN's Nitrix formula?

Thanks in advance.

my good friend Layne Norton recently sent me an e-mail and we were talking about his stance against glutamine supplementation this is basically what he said.

"In short, it has no impact on protein synthesis or
degradation and it has terrible oral bioavailability"

save your money, just get your glutamine from however much is in your protein power and normal foods.

Glutamine in my opinion works. Call it "placebo" as alot of supplements can be. I'm a believer in it. I would take 10g's post workout in my shake. My recovery was definitley better. It's not a miracle supplement and there is no proven track records of it, but it worked for me, so who knows.
