Just curious what you guys think.... I know you need some sugars after you work out to get the insulin going. So if I put like two table spoons of icecream in with my two scoops of ON 100% whey would that get the job done? Should I look elsewhere to for the sugar?
I just use strait table sugar... it has a GI of 75, but the higher the GI the better... more than likely your ice cream is sweetened with high fructose corn syrup, try to avoid that shit
table sugar is not nearly as good as dextrose or maltodestrose as it primarily acts on liver glycogen levels from what I've read, while Dex and malto act on muscle glycogen levels.
