I recently got some ZMA's after hearing how important they are. I took 3 capsules before bed. I woke up in the middle of the night and threw up 4 times. I was wondering if anyone can tell me if that was from the ZMA's or just coincidence. I have been on my same diet so I know it isnt the food. I also take animal pak, animal m stak, animal nitro and untra whey. Can anyone help me out?

Do you think i could have overdosed on zinc and magnesium. I take animal pak too and that has zinc and magnesium in it too.

Zinc: More than 50 mg daily often increases the need for dietary copper; more than 100 mg daily might cause toxic symptoms.

Magnesium: More than 1000 mg daily might cause diarrhea.

Even if you take to much of a multivitamin it can be upsetting to the stomach. Just make sure you don't exceed the daily values too much. Also i took ZMA before and never had any problems at all.

How much zinc are you getting? Highly doubt ZMA is doing this to you.

You shouldn't be taking ZMA a long with Animal Pak in the first place. Calcium + ZMA does not work well together.

It most likely wasn't the ZMA. It probably was a bad batch of food. Try it again and see what happens. If nothing happens, then it could have been food poisoning.

Max Mucsle has a new ZMA product out called ITRX. It is a nightime formula of zma and some other stuff to help you sleep deeper and recover better, just go to maxmuscle.com and read all about it.

Also, I think that zma on a completely empty stomach like you may have during a serious diet when you are going to bed can certainly cause some nausia issues if you are not used to it, I have personally experienced it.

I have had that same side effect. I threw about a couple hours later after taking it with my casein protein shake. Then the next day thinking it was something I ate I tried it again and puked again. I think it was taking the zma along with the protein shake that upset my stomach. Are you drinking a shake while taking your zma?

I was under the impression Animal Stak was pretty much covering all the bases with minerals and vitamins, with some aminos thrown in to boot.

Why would you then take extra multis and ZMA on top of that?
