loading creatine

I got sick a while ago when loading creatine. I missed school for a whole week because I was puking everyday. I tried creatine again but didn't load and everything was fine. I was wondering how important loading is and if it is even necessary.

Another question: What does the reps meter mean? and how do you get reps?

some may disagree with me but i don't see much a point in loading creatine your muscles can only take in so much at a time i have never loaded it and have still had great results from it.
As far as the reps go they are like a reward system for good post. Make a good post get reps but make a bad post a get reps taken away

try mixing creatine with warm (i mean warm, and not hot) water. it mixes super and the powder 100% dissolves in the water. mix in 2 tblspoons of dextrose for most absorbed effect.

i usually don't load creatine, just cycle it once or twice a year for about 8 weeks on 8 weeks off 8 weeks on, and then a whole year without creatine. (if i have ti take in like 3 liters of water with creatine daily, i've had enough of it after 2x8 weeks for another year :p)

i usually don't load creatine because if i load the results are the same ass if i don't load. for the rest i agree with falllen

loading creatine is pointless, i never have loaded creatine, and still have gotten great results off it

Everyone is correct here, loading is not necessary. I remember when I first loaded, I felt like shit, the amount you have to take is ridiculous, not to mention all the water you need so your organs don't get fucked up and make kidney stones. Just take the normal amount, thats all. Good Luck

I reccomend loading creatine, it is the consensus that you can have your CP levels saturated faster by loading, and can maintain they with 3-5 grams a day after a 5 day load. Its not necessary but it definately helps. Creatine should not have made you sick. You may experience some gastrointestinal stress if you dont drink enough water (cant stress enough how important it is).

Also stay away from any transport systems and what not. Just take the pure powder, is better because you arent paying for flavored sugar/ any other crap. Take it with water, nothing else (unless a protein shake). Also no worries about cycling it, creatine is not hormonal.

creatine Ethyl Ester- you can take far less and get better results, take with your PWO shake.

I won't do a loading phase. The amount of creatine you have to take is not healthy for your organs unless you drink insane amounts of water. Also, I havent heard many people say that creatine loading gives better results.

The information about kidney stones is bullshit fallen. Although I'm not a fan of it, loading is a good way to saturate your muscles. If you are going to load the creatine, load the creatine at 20-25 grams for 5 days, be sure to spread throughout the day of 4 to 5 servings. After the 5 days are up, take 5-10 grams per day to maintain your saturation levels. Creatine taken after this period will be excreted as creatinine.
