How do you guys eat sweet potatoes? Plain, or do you put stuff on them? I can't eat them plain, I gag everytime.

Same as Gumby, Except I don't eat too many sweet potatoes, usually normal potatoes, try some nonfat yogurt for a topping if nothing else works. Good luck dude.

I love white potatoes, how big of a difference is there between sweet potatoes and white potatoes?

If you can't eat them plain, you should try some non fat dressing on top of them. Living_cartoon already advised yoghurt, but there are many other possibilties. Always check if there is enough space in your diet for these dressings to fit in. (extra carbs etc. etc.)

big difference, sweet is much lower GI and has a better micronutrient make up.

I like yogurt on white potatoes, and on sweet I just love the taste plain. Thanks for the info hdogg.

Hell I can eat the hell outa some white potatoes, but I cant stand sweet potatoes! Maybe it'll be something I get used to over time, but I just cant handle them right now. There totally nasty to me.

Try stevia/splenda and a little cinnamon/pumpkin pie spice, amd mash it all up. If you really try hard (or are good at lying to yourself) you can pretend its dess ert!!!!!!
