Cottage cheese is a very acquired taste, best way to eat it if you aren't fond of the flavour is to buy it already mixed with pineapple of mango..makes it a bit easier to force down.

I have just taken to drinking a protein shake (whey plus micellar casein - whey for the immediate absorbtion as you fall asleep, micellar casein to absorb slowly during the night) before bed..too early to notcie if it is having any significant difference but will keep monitoring.

Yeah, cottage cheese is definatly good for you!

If you have trouble downing the stuff, mix it up with some fruit like pineapple, banana or strawberries. :)

Any more tips on how to flavour the cottage cheese? I tried it with vanillesugar and cinemon but that didn't taste good. Also tried it yesterday with sugar and banana :1480:

I can't get it down and I'm not the picky type...

Mix with protein powder, whey has a very high BV but fast absoption, cottage cheese has a lower BV but slow absorption, together= best of bost worlds. Plus i actually like the taste like that.

(BV= biological value).

Found a solution!!!! Tried to mix cottage cheese with 3 pineapple slices & lots of cinnemon. Then is used a little sirup for sweetness! Good stuff...

I don't have the cash for buying all that stuff! It's f***ing expensive here in Denmark and thos 2.3lbs casein won't last more than a month. :hanged:

18inchGun, Casein ain't the protein type of the Cottage cheese? at least it is here...

Anyway I avoid any shakes at night since you need a slow absorb for ur proteins throut the night... basically cottage cheese + peanut butter + 2 slices of whole wheat bread...
