Ive been thinking of trying some nitric oxide supplements, but are vaso products better for increased blood flow?

do they actually promote muscle building?

The active ingredient in most NO products is arginine alpha ketogluterate, which, in short, stimulates the smooth endothelial tissue of the blood vessels to release nitric oxide into the blood, thus dilating them. In theory, this is supposed to increase blood flow to the working muscles, increasing the pump and brining substrates into the muscle to allow them to recover and grow faster. The problem is, none of that is really conclusive, and the biggest problem is that when you increase the size of a blood vessel, you decrease the blood pressure, which may artificially elevate heart rate, which for some people puts them in an undesireable state.

I personally don't see much practical use for NO products in terms of actual muscle growth and recovery. I'd rather spend my money elsewhere.

My .02 cents.

Great post! Dont forget that the blood vessels in your brain will compensate for the drop in blood pressure by constricting. This means reduced blood flow to the brain obviously but can also cause your system to go into shock in theory. I havent heard of this happening but I say why risk it? On the other hand I think if you cycle it and dont take mega doses then you probably will not run into any problems. I tried NO-Xplode a while back and saw decent gains. But like bodybuilder said Id rather spend my money elsewhere.
