So ive been eating chicken, steak, ground beef, protein shakes etc etc. Today i went to the food store and i noticed pork chops, they didnt have any nutritional information on em. Anyone know if they have a good protein to fat ratio? Also if u guys have any ideas for extra protein intake in between meals, aside from cottage cheese and shakes. Ive considered nuts but they are too fatning =/

cook up some ground beef...and the fat in nuts is healthy fat, so it's ok if you're bulking!

Yea im done bulking, so i just wanna keep the mass while losing fat. So i need to be mroe careful with the fat i eat. How do u get the fat out of the ground beef once its cooked? i mean i always have lots of fat floating in the pan, not sure how take the beef out without rubbing it in the fat.

cook...then tilt the pan and gather the beef to one side to let the fat pool in the far end of the pan. Wait. Scoop. :)

I boil my ground beef, strain it, boil it again, strain. Do a ton at once, portion it into ziplock bags, and freeze it, then you just move a bag from the freezer to the fridge every night to thaw, and you save cooking time all week.

same deal with chicken, pork chops, whatever. It take just as long to cook one chicken breast in the oven as it does 40. Might as well cook them all, let em cool, and portion them out.

How lean is the beer you're buying? I just buy really lean red meat and when frying it in a pan I just push any fat or juices off to the side; it's easy as long as your pan is big enough. Also, don't be afraid of healthy fats. Healthy fats are great to take with meals that are strictly protein which will keep your body from assimilating all the protein at once and they also have a great deal of other health benefits. I think Lee Labrada said recently that he wishes they had the knowledge surrounding healthy fats because it can actually improve/help with dieting. Don't be afraid of healthy fats, just try not to mix carbs with fats when dieting.

I'm pretty sure that depends on what you fry it in and with. If you just spray some pam or vegetable oil onto a non-stick pan I don't see how that could actually add any extra fat content to it.

For the record: that should say "beef" not "beer"
