something strange happened to me in the gym today

so i went in for my usual tri's and bi's session and tri's but with 2 scoops of superpump 250 taken preworkout instead of my usual no-xplode, it went pretty good, surpassed all my previous lifts by a couple reps, and when i got to bi's i always warm up with 50's on a camber, well some douche who told me he had 7 sets left with the bar and saw the look of anger on my face and "let me" work in, so mis calcuating i threw on a 2.5 to the already 2 10 pound plates on there, i did 15 reps no problem when there was actually 70 pounds on the bar, needless to say i was shocked, i ended gettin 85 for 9 perfectly when i had gotten 80 for 9 last workout and cheated just a bit to get that 10th rep, don't know if it was the superpump 250 but thats the only thing that changed, either way it was good

improvements! YES! great to hear man, maybe it was just cuz you were so angry and pumped up from that either way its good to hear man, keep it up.

i wanted to that kill guy, i mean we're all in the gym for the same reasons, show some respect and don't hog the weights or give a hard time about working in, can't stand my college gym, 23 more days til i can go home and lift in a real gym, don't even have a working smith machine or machine for standing calf raises

oh well, sometimes you gotta take what you can get

you ever try goin at a different time, cuz usually college gyms are packed at certain hours and dead at others.

with all my classes i can only afford to go at 3:30, its usually not that crowded and im usually the only person doing arms, every1 else seems to do chest on mondays,ha, chest on the first day of the week, who wud do such thing,
bombdigity 37 at a supplement store that just opened, internet prices, only in ct though, ************** sells it pretty cheap too, the pump i had going was insane, i still had it about 5 hours after

Maybe aefx works for them and this was his promotion spiel...

Could also be the fact that at first you thought you had less on the bar so psychologically you thought you were lifting less and had already predetermined you could lift it.

ok you all caught me out, i do work for gaspari nutrition, j/k, i mean maybe it was mental but bi's have always been a weak point for me and i absolutely kicked the **** out of them yesterday but i liked the superpump 250, felt more of a pump than when i was on no-xplode

I would suggest that it's possibly either placebo effect, or you are able to lift that much anyway. You prioritize arms, so I would be inclined to think that you haven't been training for too long, and are still figuring out what works best for you.

I've been training on and off for the past 4 years and started seriously in mid feb, my bi's get pumped pretty easily and i found i had to rest for around 2 mins to get the most out of each of my sets
