I'm currently about 8 weeks into my first cutting phase. I'm not getting ready for a contest or anything, just cutting up a bit. Lately I have had absolutely no energy and sometimes after sitting for long peroids of time and standing up quickly I get slightly light headed. I also feel sick at times and also get that achy feeling (In my legs for the most part). I don't have a temp or anything so is this just a normal thing you experience when cutting? Sorry if its a stupid question, but its my first time.

Welcome to the club.

I'm dieting at the moment also taking caffiene everyday. Seems to help, but it's not something I would use for long period of time.

Lightheadedness I sometimes get, but sounds like you may be cutting out the calories too much too quickly. I doubt it though as you seem to know what you're doing, but doesn't sound good.

ok thanks Flex...I just wanted to make sure nothings wrong w/ me.

Rocky, I have been cutting out about 200-300 calories every 7-10 days. I just recently cut out another 250 which brought me down to about 2,500. I'm not going any lower than this though...

As I thought, sounds like you know what you're doing. Not surprised you don't want to go lower seeing as that's only the bare daily requiremnt not taking into account your training. Wonder what it could be then. Unless it is simply a side effect of the cut!

well, it really only gets bad at night which would make sense now that I think about it. School probably doesn't help much either...only getting about 6-7 hours of sleep

Hopefully as your body adjusts to the diet (as it usually does) the effects will lessen.
