ive taken creatine monohydrate and seen or felt no results. If i were to try a different type or brand of creatine would that help or would it be just a waste of money?

The purity of creatine does have some implications on its effectiveness , thefore the brand is quite an important factor.. I personally recommend the creapure creatine by reflex nutrition.. It also depends on how long you have been on it and if youve cycled it correctly meaning if youve correctly done the loading phase and thereafter the maintanance phase. Dont expect instant results, yould should gradually see a difference in your lifts and a reduction in recovery time whilst your on it. You can also get creatine in liquid form however there is some controversy surrounding its effectiveness. If you have difficulty in absorbing creatine on its own then there are plenty of new products on the market in which the creatine is bound with other products to improve its delivery and aborption eg. dextrose etc.. Maybe the other guys on the forum will be able to advise you on the best delivery system

You say you didn't see or feel any different with creatine monohydrate, but is this just your general impression or did you keep a detailed journal to compare your lifts, weight, lean body mass?

I have found differing results from taking creatine - even if it has been the same brand I've used - one time I found it helped, another time it didn't seem to make a blind bit of difference. It may be that there are other factors to take into account to get optimum effectiveness, but that's purely a guess.

if the creatine brand does not give you a good or fell any results, try different brand. i recommend cell-tech and vitargo CGL. im sure it will give you the maximum effect of creatine in your body. as of now, im not taking any supplements for a year. i still see progress but its to slow.

You would be wasting your money, instead why don't you buy steak, chicken or porchop for that matter.

But If you still considering taking supps, I prefer whey.

Did you drink enough water on your cycle? You should be getting about 2 gallons a day which would increase pumps and effectiveness in the gym.

I agre with Walker, but I wouldn't take it with OJ, I'd take it with something that has a higher carb ratio like grape or blackcurrant juice.
