Hi guys i have been training for almost three years now and iv suplemented my training with the usual combination of whey protein, creatin and glutamine.. However due to being part of the genetically cursed my gains have been slow and minimal (im 5'11 and weigh just under 160lbs). Ive now conisdered starting using prohormones but i have no knowledge in this area so before i do i wanted to ask a couple of questions :-
  1. Are the benefits derived from prohormone use enough to justify the damage caused to the liver .
  2. What prohormone from the island supplement range should i begin with as novice prohormone user and how should it be cycled.
  3. What products should the product be stacked with to get maximum gains
  4. What other products should i take in conjuction with the pro hormone to ensure minmial damage to the liver .(i read somewhere you should take milk thistle, but dont know what it does)

Any help will be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks

I think you can pack a lot more on naturally. Post up your diet.

ICEMAN, I'm no expert, but i did do about 4 different cycles of prohormones back from 2000-2003 when they were still legal here the states. To make a long post short. I went from 145- 165 in a matter of 3-4 months. I added an inch on just about all my bodyparts, but calves. Before i took em i couldnt gain a pound of weight. I did take them in junction with a huge amount of calories,as i had just entered college, which was figured to somewhere in the 4,000 range of anything i could eat. I have since put on weight without them, though i used them in about 4 different cycles till 2003 and my weight reached about 175 @ 7-8% bf. When i dieted i never used them. I tried tribulus and andro poppers from pinnicle, which was the 1st product i used, and worked miracles literally. I had similar steriod like side effects in my mood, acne, and sex drive, though the extra motivation to want to workout all the time was a big plus. In 2003, my test levels fell through the floor and for about 1 year i gained 10lbs of bad weight, injured my shoulders, got my rib stuck in the cartileage a few times deadlifting, i had absolutely no drive to train, could not lose fat, eventhough i was eating all chicken with a carb cycling and cardio. My sex drive was ZERO, and i felt tired and like i was 50 years old. My doctor told me my test levels had dropped due to my prohormone cycles. After two years im back to normal again and at 198 and about 12-13% bf. I'd never touch em again,I'm even cautious about taking ZMA again,do it natrually bro,its not worth it. Best, Ryan

Cheers bro..im still in two minds yet.. i know part of downfall is due to my diet . Most guys here dont seem to complain about PH here so i guess its really down to how your body is able to tolerate it.. i think il continue to train my body as i currently am untill ive truly come to a plateu but i would really apreciate people posting down the pros and cons here that they have experinced on each product so it helps people like us to decide wether to take them or not and if so which ones.

if you are really considering prohormones I would just go for the real deal. I know a lot of people don't like to hear that but its the truth. Prohormones basically run through your liver a bunch of times and then turn into a weak steroid. While injectable steroids just run through your liver once. Prohormones are extremely hard on your liver and the gains are definately not worth it. I still say to work on your diet and training and do a lot of research. Keep doing research and once you hit 200ibs w/ a 12ish percent bodyfat then I would say you could give it a go.

Amen to that. 80% of this game is food. Period. Learn proper nutrition so you will actually grow lean mass on these cycle rather than glycogen retention.
