as long as you don't mind being soft...you can probably put that much on, but the elusive 12 pounds of muscle with no fat gain so I can score chicks on the beach is harder, and some would say impossible to attain naturally.
BBing usually happens in two steps...
Bulking - where you attempt to put on weight of which some will be fat. This is accomplished through Diet.
Cutting- where you look to lose fat to see your muscles. This is also accomplished through diet (and cardio).
The nice thing is, that when you cut properly, you actually look bigger, even though you're smaller (unless you're really small). Messed up eh?
Good bulkers tend to last a few months while a good (muscle sparing) cutter lasts 12-16 weeks for most pros. This **** takes planning and accurate goal assesment. Think about what you want to end up looking like and figure out how to get there. You can still get laid this summer if you're soft, you just might have to get a personality to compensate for your lack of abs

. I reccomend being funny and huge...then the summer after, when you're shredded and huge you can stop being funny and just lay back as the ladies flock to you.
