I have ulcerative colitis and thats when you colon or large intestine develops ulcers and also gets swollen its a pretty bad disease but this is only when the symptoms come, its called a flare up. My first flare up was when i was 16 and now im 18 and have had no problem since the first flare up nothing has bothered me at all. I have been taking whey and now just started creatine and ive gotten gas alot and im scared because im not sure if i can be taking whey because it might aggravate my symptoms and that would suck because the first time i had to take an anti-inflammatory steriod called prednisone which totally sucked ass n u feel terrible i had to **** once like 16 times in one day! yea so it sucks if anyone has this please help i just want to know if its risky to take whey or creatine. thnx

Ulcerative colitis usually happens to young people between age15-30. Second peak is usually age between 50-60. Energy needs doesn't increase much but you need to make sure you get enough protein. Colon is usually the place to absorb Sodium, Potassium, and making vitamin K.
It shouldn't affect any protein absorption. You might need to check your blood to see your protein status if possible.
