in the nutrition section there are a bunch of sticky threads with tons of nutritional knowledge, check them out. whey cannot be found in specific foods. to my understanding it is an product of milk but i think the only way to get pure whey is from a powder. i know your not eating to become a bodybuilder but those sticky threads have a lot of info about eating in general.

whey protein is the best protein imo.it comes from milk. During the process of turning milk into cheese, whey protein is separated out.

Dairy products as well as eggs, cottage cheese, soy and vegetable protein also contain good amounts of protein. Nevertheless, none of these sources compares in quality or ease of use like whey protein. Whey protein has the highest value in providing branched-chain amino acids, which result in building and retaining muscle tissue.

Unless you are getting whey isolate then I've found one whey is as good as another (to a point) I usually get whichever one is on offer. There is normally plenty of deals on in decent supplement shops on whey!
