Ok, here is my situation..
I'm a competative runner and I've been training very consistantly for a long time, I've made huge improvements in my times just from natural training. My problem is that I just damgaged (tore) a few muscles in my leg, and my doctor is telling me it will not be fully healed for a good 3-5 months. As most of you know, taking just a week off of running can totally destroy all the work you put in. I really cannot afford to lose all the training I've put it due to this injury.
So I'm looking to see if it is possible to do a short cycle (approx. 2-4 weeks) to help the muscles in my leg repair themselves and recover quicker. I'm not looking to gain any muscle or improve my running times, just enough to get me leg back to 100%.
So my question is, what would you guys recommend for this type of a cycle, and would PCT be neccessary for a cycle as short as two weeks? I've have no previous steriod use, so it would be my first cycle.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks. |
