in his book "the encyclopedia of modern bodybuilding" he claims he has never used any form of steroids. do u think his telin the truth? i reckon these days though competitors are much bigger so i have no idea whos on em or not. just curious on every1's thoughts.

I don't know which planet you come from, but Arnold often admitted of using steroids. I also have that book but haven't seen that claim anywhere. Which page?

i also have the book, and the closest thing is says to a steriod remark is, you can get big muscle without the use of steriods as long as you eat good,, something around those lines

I have the book and I dont recall anything with steroids. Not to sound ignorant but I personally don't listen to Arnold when he talks about steroids. Hes a very popular actor and I am sure that many kids look up to him. Plus with the media in todays world he has to be carefull what he says.

he doesnt directly say he didnt use em but "i am absolutely against the use of these dangerous and ilegllal substances" he claims so i wasnt sure if he just said this because he has a lot of influence on young people....... just wanted to hear every1 else thoughts.

When Arnold used them they were not considered "illegal" so he does get away with it on a slight tecnicality. In the Pumping Iron 25years he addmits to steroid use, check it out.

in the days of Arnold, they had bowls of dbol at the front counter of the gym.. Deca/d-bol was a very popular cycle in that time.. to this day its a very effective cycle.. but we all know thats not the only thing people take.. and if you download his 60 minute interview off this site you will see him confessing to doing steroids 8-10weeks out from competition.. We as bodybuilder know that it was more then just those times that roids were taken.. but besides the point of roids.. Arnold Encyclopedia is a great book... period...

i dont think by that quote he was refering to steroids. he was refering to things like sterols and synthol and also marijuana and all that stuff.
