Dopamine is also a neurotransmitter. Here's a neuron:
Neurons need to transmit electrical waves from neuron to neuron. One end is the synapse, the other is the receptor. Try to envision that with the image I posted above and think of the routs of the words: neuro + transmitter.
Serotonin, epinephrine, norepinepherine and dopamine are common neurotransmitters that correlate with bodybuilding.

I love it. I plan to major in physiology and minor in psychology/neuroscience. Biology is interesting but most of the curriculum is related to plants and such. Biochemistry is where it's at :)
