Steroids don't work as magic, so don't expect them to. If your diet and training is failing, chances are so will the supplements you take.

cosign skinny. i was always skinny and have gained almost 45 pounds in 9 1/2 months. you have to train and eat, then eat some more, and then sleep. everyone on this board will tell you that you shouldnt even think about steroids until youve trained for a couple years and reached a certain point naturally. steroids shouldnt be seen as an easy way out.

Eat lots of red meat and fish and train hard. I actually recommend to not eat chicken that often, it's not as good of quality protein as most fish and of course red meat is the best.

What basis do you have for saying that? Chicken is every bit as good as beef except for beef has more zinc and iron, but fish has more creatine, especially herring. Chicken has all the amino acids and is a complete protein just like all other meats.

If you're under at least 20 it's a bad idea for steroids I'd be at least 25 first and that's if I'm competitive in lifting competitions at that point and need to boost to get ot where the elite are.

Eh, who cares. A complete protein is a complete protein. Fish is more protein dense, I'll give you that.

yea i think you are misled on the chicken bro, read every diet and there is nothing but chicken, fish, and maybe,, red meat, but mostly CHICKEN,,, unless your red meat is very low in fat than its a good choice, but i would take a chicken breast over a hamburger patty anyday..

true i think its a bad idea , you seem to be jumping into taking steroids which may mean you might not do the cycle properly , and you would be disapointed by the results , plus the fact it could be harmfull , set yourself a program up , try a weight gainer 2 times aday and 6 high in pro an carb meals aday , get down the gym an do a whole body split each week , an keep it consisstent , otherwise if you cant do this then i wouldnt even bother thinking about steroids

I see you are in the army, I dont know about the american army but in the brits we have drug testing. What sort of service are you in, is it office based or field? Consistancy is the key bro, but I guess its kind of hard if you are on manouvres etc. My suggestions would be MRP's, I know food is best, but maybe this could assist you to get the 6 meals a day you may need. Training? how much and what type of regime do you employ? How are the stresses in your life? how much sleep are you getting? How tall are you and what age are you? These are all variables that can affect development anf if these factors are adversely affected because of your lifestyle, steroids will not make the situatin better, it will actually exacerbate it. I would only recommend the use of gear when someone as reached their full potential over many years, has a good base of exercise and nutritional knowledge and isnt doing it as a knee jerk reaction to the frustration he is feeling as I feel from you bro. Post again and leave some details of your lifestyle, training, nutrition and how much rest you get and we will do our best to help!

yea i wouldnt even think about using gear until uve reached ur natural peak. like everyone else has said here to gain tht extra weight what u want uve gotta eat eat eat eat train eat eat eat sleep then do this again and again... theres no such thing as a miracle drug or supplement, if ur training and diet isnt upto scratch then u will not gain weight (muscle), end of. post abit about yourself mate an we'll all do our best to help you e.g height, diet, training routine, goals etc and also when this is all sorted u should set yourself small targets to reach your ultimate goal cos if ur lik 130lbs an u say i wana be 250lbs ull end up feeling depressed an down cos thts so far away an ull feel lik uve not made any progress. so set yourself targets maybe aim to put on 5 lbs in say 2 or 3 months.

WEIGHTGAINERS-600-3,000 calories per serving, depending on the brand. As small as you are you don't even really need to worry about the sugar content of some of the higher calorie shakes. Takem 2 times a day and eat all the time!

Oh right, right I've heard of that. I assume that's related to dopamine and other pleasure hormones.

Nope, it's not a hormone. I wish I could go into further detail but I'm only a highschool psychology student :( but I've been doing my fair-share of researching. I haven't yet reached the stage where I "know" specific activations of the brain.

If you'd like to proceed into further detail, I'll be sure to chip in as much as I can. But I can't say the material I exude will be 100% spot on.

If you'd like to proceed into further detail, I'll be sure to chip in as much as I can. But I can't say the material I exude will be 100% spot on.
I know serotonin's not a hormone, but if it's related to pleasure then dopamine would most likely have something to do with it. Maybe dopamine activates the neurotransmitter? Because of course dopamine is the hormone responsable for pleasure- eating realises small amounts of it and herion of other opiates release huge amounts of it.

I wish my high school had psychology we have biology, earth science, chemistry and astronomy. Biology's interesting though, it relates to bodybuilding.

Dopamine is also a neurotransmitter. Here's a neuron:

Neurons need to transmit electrical waves from neuron to neuron. One end is the synapse, the other is the receptor. Try to envision that with the image I posted above and think of the routs of the words: neuro + transmitter.

Serotonin, epinephrine, norepinepherine and dopamine are common neurotransmitters that correlate with bodybuilding.

Hope that helped.

I love it. I plan to major in physiology and minor in psychology/neuroscience. Biology is interesting but most of the curriculum is related to plants and such. Biochemistry is where it's at :)
