I am planning to do my first cycle of anabolics as soon as I have completed my research and acquired the necessary gear, but I'm seeing very different advice as to which way to go, with very little by way of explanation for it. Also, while I'm not an idiot, I'm struggling to understand half of people answers, because they're full of abbreviations and 'txt spk', which is probably fine if you're more used to the terms, but gobbledegook to me! So I wonder if some of you who have done your homework can help me with my goal to pack on muscle :-)
A lot of guys I know have done cycles using 'Deca' and Sustenon, and a book I read suggested this was a good combo for optimising muscle growth with minimal side effects. However, reading this article...

...it sounds like Sustenon isn't great value for money, although this article focusses on free testosterone delivered, and may be ignoring the relatively good side effect profile of Sustenon (or not??).
So first question: what is the principle behind combining 'Deca' and Sustenon, and if you think there's a better first cycle combo (or single product cycle), can you tell me what it is - and as comprehensively as you can, why?
Second question: is 'Deca' just short for 'Deca-durabolin' and is it the same as 'Nandrolone'?
Final question: would you recommend an 8, 10 or 12 week cycle and why?
FYI - I am 36 years old, 6' 1", 200lbs and it would probably take me another two years to put on another 14lbs at the rate I'm going without steroids.
I'm not necessarily looking to do more than one cycle here, although it depends how successful it is. At the moment I'm not hoping for more than 15 - 30lbs more muscle mass, but you never know... |
