Ok guys this is a question thats been playing on my mind for a long time, and i figured that here is where i would get a decent answer.

ok now we know that the ifbb pros use gear almost all year round, and in large quantities, but lets say for your NABBA amatuer or someone who is doing bodybuilding as more of a hobby on the side rather than a lifes pursuit (like jay cutler) do they use gear up to a certain point, then go natural til the day they kick the bucket or do they use gear constantly just in not-so-big quantities????

jay cutler IS an IFBB pro and that is his career and have you seen kevin levrone after he retired. theres no way he could lose that much muscle while still being on gear.

Cant talk for others but I personally cycle gear and the type of gear depending at what stage I am in the year. I do know of others who seem to be constantly on gear as well. As for quantities that varies with the individual and usually down to cost not on health grounds

i guess it all dies down on to the person itself. there a people who go to the gym and enjoy the exercise and the people in those comps are natural and enjoy it as a hobby but as the sport "bodybuilding" it involves steroids, if you want to pursuit it steroids is just as much a part of the sport as the diet is. you know what i mean??

thanks guys, i guess what i was trying to figure was say in kabooms or mooreys case, did you ever get to a point where your size tells you that thats enough sauce and then from there just keep the gains naturally or with extremely minimal gear use

I read on another board that Levrone took 2 years of dieting down and tons of cardio to lose like 70 lbs of muscle he had put on with AAS... I think alot of what you keep has to do with genetics, training and diet.
