These are all acne antibiotics that help remove all different types of acne. I am currently taking doxycline (1 week so far) a.k.a. adoxa at 100mg twice daily (200mg per day.) This is an ANTI-ANABOLIC (ANTI-STEROIDAL) drug, I have not lost weight, but I have lost a lot of definition. I am curious to see if anyone else has taken prescription drugs for acne medication and if they have worked for them or not. Will the acne stay away after discontinuence, just like when accutane is used??

In many cases it will never come again if you are have been using accutane(roacuttan)... But you can never be sure...

Yeah that's what I heard too, but I'm scared to use accutane because it's just as toxic as d-bol or anadrol. But then if I take roids (just weak androgens like primo, anavar, winstrol, equipoise and so on) will it come back, even after I took accutane?

I have tried accutane and my acne has been awesome ever since never as bad as it once was. It works great and my dermatoligist had to check my liver vals every month and according to the doc they were just fine so I wouldn't worry to much a great drug IMO.

Thanks for the advice KR, I set an appointment and gotta wait until august 18 to go see the derm, those fuckers make some good money, there always booked up with appointments. I just hope he'll prescribe me accutane. I've pretty much tried everything else (my acnes not that bad, but it just doesn't wanna die.)

Hope all goes well for you. I'm currently on month 7 of accutane but I had quite bad acne on my back and cheast. So you probably won't have to do a very long cycle. Mine will porbably be around 2 months more.

Wow, are you taking it nonstop without a break? Does it cost a lot of $$$ to take the medicine, get regular check ups and blood tests? Best of luck to you, I hope your acne clears up good and stays that way. Thanks for the post.

Yes nonstop. I'm on 60 mg per day (30 morning/30 before bed). I live in Sweden and we have "högkostnadsskydd" (high price protection or something like that) which means that we pay less everytime we buy a new pack of tabs until you reach a certain level where you get it free. The bloodtests and checkups are free also since I was sent there by the hospital. I get the checkups every month and every other month depending on my previous values (which have been perfect all the time).
I have been on both a bulk and a diet and it has not made my values worse so (I feard that my diet would have to change) you can eat the way you feel without anything bad happening (ofcourse you can't eat pizza and mcdonalds 30 times per week so your lipids are sky high :17: ).

Hope theis clears something up! I don't know how the healthcare in the US works but this is how it's here.
