Ok I am going to the doctor tomorrow to get some tests run for my thyroid, my testosterone levels, etc. Im sick and tired of being tired all the time, I eat very good, exercise and am not stressed out but am tired as hell all the time. Is there anything I should ask the doctor as to why im tired? Also should I eat before I go in, does anyone know the answers to these? Should I try to have low test?

DOn't try to alter the results. Tel him your symptoms and request that he test your thyroid levels and test. He will do that and add any other tests he feels is appropriate. tHe problem with docs these days isn't there lack of testing it's the lack of treatment or the treatment options they give you

Should I ask for a copy of my results and how long do the results usually take to come back?

That depends on the lab they send the results to and the turn around time.

eat whatever and whenever unless your having a glucose test, for your glucose you need to fast in your case 12am should be your last meal and only water until your test. just go in and tell him what your problem is, what you want tested and anything extra tests he thinks too.

my doctor alwayas has mine mailed to me. just when you talk to him/her act like the symtoms you have are a little worse then they are. if you say your tierd they will say get more sleep and eat better (regardless to what you say) so make sure you let them know that you can almost fall asleep at the wheel or something along the lines. i was having headaches for a while one time and the doc blew it off. so i told her i have a lot of anxiety over it, as to what it can be. so i asked her a lot and got a cat skan... and they dont do those unless they think you need it. im my case i needed it for my anxiety and i was happy with the results.. so ask for test'!
