I didnt mean to come off strong, its just tough enough convincing young freshman on my team to stay away from that stuff, they're way too young and i know what they're going through because coming in as a freshman in college, you are slower, weaker, shorter, and feel like you need an edge however you can get it. Not to mention drug tests are always a regular. I am captain of my soccer team but unfortunatly had to sit my senior year due to a knee injury, i am coming back for one final year...but i have to look out for my boys, and i feel like i want to throw my opinion out to get it known, dont risk anything...specially with soccer, agility is any players best friend. Not to mention athleticism... Dont alter what type of player you are chemically until you truley get through everything, you want to gain some mass but not to much...creatine, whey, bcaas, glutamine, and multi in season... DIET DIET DIET, and sleep... you are going to maintain in season, possibly lose mass, but muscle memory will recover post season, thats when you bulk to your weight you want.

You are breaking your muscle fibers down SO much just alone in preseason, and typical seasons normally last 3-4 months with playoffs. I didnt read the last couple pages just jumped right into this to prove this point. You hit a plateu because you aren't eating right, and it could be tough for you because you are IN season, it gets tough. So when you say you get all you need, do you REALLY know what you need day to date, because in season is different from out of season. Strikers need to be agile as possible, and your rigth you dont want to get too big. Thats a good thing, but 18 is way too young, plus with everything else going on in your life its not the right time at all. You need to get a solid base down, meaning use your in season to cut, out of season to bulk. Prioritize yourself so that you can maintain a constant state to build, once again, your base on. Once you put 5 solid years into the gym, give or take, and get your diet right to actually know what a true plateu may be, then after doing some careful research do what you need to do with gear. But wait bud...Just my two cents from a fellow NCAA college soccer player.
he doesn't play soccer
he's the son of overbearin parents so he fills his time on the bench. . .and in the bathroom

lol

Hahaha, I love it. Its true though. Talk of steroids is stupid at 18. You do know that they say some males are not fully developed until they are 21?
Workout your sums! uve got a long time. Anyway, I know someone who had a different form of steroids to get over Sarcoidosis which was later proven to have weakened his bones and now has two, YES TWO hip replacements at the age of around 50 which is very young for hip replacements.

The other type of steroids would be corticosteroids, such as prednisone, hydrocortisone, etc. These have NOTHING to do with anabolic androgenic steroids. They act completely opposite each other in the body. Corticosteroids are essentially catabolic. AAS will not weaken your bones or tendons. Ones which cause you to hold water weight such as deca will actually lubricate and cushion your joints. If you are using Winstrol or aromatose inhibitors particularly lethro your joints will become dried out but thats it. You can also become too strong too quickly for your bones and tendons to compensate particularly with tren but both of these situations only open the door for short term injuries not hip replacement or degeneration of bones or joints. I dont mean to pick on you in particular its just that I hear this alot about AAS and its blatantly not true.

yea, that's true to a point(i don't want to sound like a "know-it-all", seeing as i haven't done it yet

but from what i've read and heard, you need endurance, yes, but also, a grea deal of strength is required

i've toyed with the idea of being a fitness model--that's the only real reason i've thought of taking gear

My brother is a seal, x seal now, works for homeland security disarming nuclear warheads, lol...but they do extremely long runs for warmup as masko said, completely tire out their bodies, then perform strength feats which vary from day to day, as well as courses requiring you to perform strength tests as well. thye also go into closed rooms with no windows, that are heated above 100' called the 'pit of death' and beat the shit out of each other, the ones not fighting are jump roping, pushups, kettleball raises, pullups, etc etc... Most of their training is done in water though so they exhaust themselves pre "dip" and then go in to tred water for an extensive amount of time, as well as "lung training" to increase the duration you can hold your breath under water.

man i train alone. I wish I had a training partner. I'm smaller than you and having a hell of a time trying to gain weight. I'm 5'9" and only weigh 155. I really need to uptake my calorie intake to start gaining some weight. What foods should i focus on eating more of that will help me gain lean weight and not fat. I wish i could get up to about 180! That's about how big i would like to get.
