1) Site Choice
glutes, quads, and delts seem to be the most painless sites listed in order of preference. Chest is not too bad. Triceps are decent providing you do not put too much into them. Biceps, Traps, Lats, and Calves in my experience are VERY painful spots to inject. Calves being the worst. Most can get a decent rotation with just Quads, Glutes, Delts, and maybe one other site if needed.
2) Volume
This is highly subjective but as a general rule of thumb:
Quads-Glutes: 3ml and sometimes over
Delts: 2-3ml depending on how big you are
Lats: 2-3ml
Chest: 2-3ml
Tris-Bis: I would not put more than 2ml in these sites.
Traps: I would not put more than 2ml here as well.
Calves: 1.5ml-2ml (*Warning* this is an EXTREMELY painful injection for most)
3) Gear
Certain gear hurts more than others.
Painful Gear:
High Concentration tests (T400, Sust)
High Concentration trens
Test Prop (if made improperly or from other manufacturers)
Bold prop, acetate
Water Based Winny or Test Suspension
Can be painful:
Masternon
Tren A
Usually painless:
EQ
Deca
Most regular dose tests
These are the most commonly used gears. I didn't list some like Primo and similar. Alot of the pain depends on what the gear is based in. Ethyl Oleate often makes gear much less painful even in higher than normal concentrations. For example, i have tried 200mg/ml Prop in EO and had no more pain then a regular 100mg/ml injection. If you are using an UG lab that works with Ethyl Oleate the pain is usually MUCH less. The only human grade gear made with EO that i know of is Viromone Propionate.
4) Cutting Painful Gear
I hear alot of ppl talk about cutting painful gear with something painless like EQ or Deca. Well, i had tried it many times with no luck. always wondered why. A very simple and overlooked method takes care of this.
First off i hear of many ppl using a heating pad or hot water bath for their gear. They would take their gear bottles, heat them up, draw and stick. They overlooked one thing...to cut painful gear with painless the two must MIX. Case in point...i recently brewed up some 400mg/ml Test E/Cyp combo. I was sticking 1ml of this three times per week. Even cut with 1ml of EQ it still hurt like hell. then i noticed something...i could see the difference in the thickness of the two oils. The EQ would stay seperate from the Test.
The solution: heat the two gears TOGETHER INSIDE THE SYRINGE.
Take a simple heating pad. Draw your gears into the syringe. remove the drawing needle and replace with the sticking needle WITH THE CAP ON (duhhhh!).
This is VERY IMPORTANT:
Draw air into the syringe. If not, when you heat the syringle the pressure will expand forcing oil out of the needle, making a mess and wasting gear. Wrap the syringe in the blanket place on "high". On the needle end place a book or something under that end of the blanket roll so the needle end is pointed up on an incline. This will also prevent leaking. Let it heat for a bit. Remove the syringe. give it a quick shake, remove the cap, purge the air, swab and stick.
Hope this helps. |
